Achieving success in our mission to accelerate life-saving research is important to us. But equally important is how we achieve that success. We want to build a company we can all be proud of, with a culture that inspires, motivates, and empowers our team to achieve their potential. We’re proud of what we’ve achieved to date, and we’re excited to do more. To make sure we stay true to our unique culture, we codified it.
Our values are Focused Advancement with Speed, Tenacity, and Transparency.
The most important thing in life is your health. Without it, nothing matters.
And with it, you can do anything.
Our team's health and wellbeing are important to us, so we invest accordingly.
Here are just some of the perks our team members enjoy regardless of seniority.
We have the tools, tech, and attitude to succeed from anywhere. Our remote-first approach to work empowers our team members to work where they feel most productive and live where they are happiest.
We also have an innovative new office space in Toronto for team members to use as much or as little as they like. We’ve named this space the “BenchSci Commons,” alluding to the “commons” of political economics—the cultural and natural resources we all share.
We’re committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI). We consider it our collective responsibility to combat social injustices that create disproportionate barriers to the success of underrepresented groups. By seeking out divergent perspectives and backgrounds, we are creating a stronger team that is more representative of our world.
We are privileged to know that our work positively impacts human health around the world. But we know we can do more to drive meaningful social change. We created BenchSci Forward as a platform to leverage our business for the advancement of important social issues, including diversity in STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics), mental health, and climate change.
